A different dimension

How do you describe an entirely new dimension? I could have lots of fun, here. Or conversely I could mess it up completely. Whatever happens, I'm going to have fun.
The elusive 100,000 word barrier is approaching. I don't know whether to be happy but the book is going to finish in a totally different way from how I thought it would. But then again, I've never begun with a plan. I can barely remember my name half the time.
Who'd have known that I could write four novels beginning with a sentence that occurred to me as I was riding my motorobike at nearly a hundred miles an hour on a blind bend in the middle of the night. It wasn't even foolish youth. I was over forty at the time. That I've come this far is little short of a miracle, or the luck of the lunatic.

  1. I love how books take their own direction. I think we are fed ideas when we are not trying to find them.

  2. It used to bother me but now I go with the flow. Even if they don't sell, at least I had a good time and it cost me nothing but a few bitten fingernails.
