Web Party

I visited (electronically) a web party last evening hosted by Charlotte Castle of http://www.facebook.com/mrscharlottecastle.

I wasn't sure what to expect. You can't exactly get falling down drunk at a virtual party. Well you could, but nobody would notice - apart from my keyboard, and I've been forced to replace that three times in the last year already. For some reason they get a bit miffed when I slop beer or tea over them; or occasionally both at the same time.

Enough digression. I met some wonderful people through the new blogs that I'm now following. I always knew there were a lot out there. In fact I was following quite a few already. Now I'm following a lot more. What a wealth of information there is - and quite a few laughs as well. I even managed to sell a few novels.

I'll have to up my game if I want to keep them (you all) here. So I would like to thank Charlotte for what must have been an exhausting event. And I promise to stop ranting about my paranoia. Well I probably won't because I have to work all night and someone's bound to attempt my extinction in the west end of London tonight.

At least I'll be able to work some more on the final few chapters of my new novel. All the typos have been fixed by Donna from "Believe in yourself." Now my job is to make it readable.

This new blogger interface is quite cool. Am I the last person in the known world to have installed it?
Probably, I only just stopped using Windows Millennium. Can't abide all these new fangled devices.

  1. It was the best online party, wasn't it? Charlotte is really something to organize that. And I too, met some amazing authors and new friends.

  3. You know, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you. :)

I've followed so many new blogs thanks to Charlotte's brilliant party that I'm still trying to catch up with all of them. I have a feeling it's going to take me a while.
