Finished - well sort of.

I've finally finished the second edition of Three Hoodies Save The World, cunningly entitled Three Hoodies Save The world Two.

I've sealed all the plot holes and now I've just got to go through and correct any typos. I'll leave it for a week because I'm sick of it. My good friend Donna from http://dmyatesbelieveinyourself.blogspot.co.uk/
has agreed to proofread it for me. She picked up so many problems on my last novel that I'd missed, I don't know how I'd do it without her.

I actually finished it a couple of years ago but until I edited it, I hadn't realised just how bad it was. My biggest problem was not closing avenues of potential plot once I'd decided to go another way. It's a mistake I always make but is the only way I can write since I never know what going to happen until it does. There must be a more professional approach but I've tried it and it doesn't work for me.

So I'm going to take a break for a few days and prepare Hoodies One for smashwords. I think I mentioned that before. See, another sign of my complete mismanagement.

This is the latest cover. I don't think it works. Luckily I kept all the earlier ones, but I might just paint another, anyway.

  1. Congratulations on the second book, and good luck with finishing it. Donna is a good choice to help in editing; she is amazing! I look forward to reading Book 2, and I'm just getting ready to start Book 1. I like the cover, too. Take care!

  2. Yay! But you're putting it up on Samshwords...boo-hoo. I can never get Smashwords to download anything for me.

Anyway, Sir Poops and Hair Ball would love to interview you but they're booked up until December and will be taking a break for that month, resuming in Jan. 2013.

And can I get your Hoodie book on PDF via you somehow. I have to look on my Kindle to see if I got book no. 1. I know I have your horror one.

    Hugs,
    Shelly

    1. I've just downloaded some software that allegedly transfers docx to PDF. I'll give it a go and you can tell me if it gets there in one piece.
You can also download smashwords stuff manually and drop into into your Kindle. I'll give you details if you like.

  3. I can't wait to read this. You are such a fun writer. And you rarely have any mistakes.

  4. They claim there is something called an outline, but it is a foreign concept to me ;) I just beacktrack and try to redo things when I change my mind, LOL!
