Hiccup finally arrived - early

I had a very peaceful house today because all the women were up at the yard.
About twenty of them, all armed with rubber boots and suits and liquid soap? milled frantically among the horses at my daughter's stables, and all working themselves into a paroxysm of panic and expectancy for the arrival of Hiccup.

Thus by twelve o’clock the hour finally arrived and off they went in force, only to discover that nature had thwarted their plans by delivering the foal early. And there it stood (albeit a little wobbly) partaking of a casual breakfast from mum and presumably wandering what the masses of red faced cooing women wanted.
All was well. Mother and foal were doing fine and all the husbands had a quiet day at home.

   Thanks, Hiccup.
