I was just passing and...

I was passing this building in the City of London today - no, that's not London; it's a completely different place, but don't get me started on that nonsense again.

    Anyway.

This building either has the worst case of stoneworm I've ever seen, or some joyriding Luftwaffe pilot decided to get off a few rounds in the second world war on his way home.

Either way, they built them to last in the 18th century.

  1. Wow! It's a great building, even with stoneworm. ;)

  2. The fact that the building next to it is only about fifty years old, meaning that the previous one was destroyed in the war is irrelevant, they did make them well.
The houses of parliament are pockmarked with bullets holes and that's still standing - just.
