More about askdavid.com

I mentioned this new service the other day. Since then I've uploaded three of my four books onto their site. Now, a week later they've put all of them onto one page with direct links to their relevant Amazon pages.

They have also put links to my blog, twitter, and website all on the same page. I can't think of a better deal than that, especially as it's free.

It hasn't resulted in any purchases yet, although as we all know Amazon is somewhat recalcitrant about recording sales at certain certain times of the month.

  1. Well...I wish you well. Marketing your book can be a time consuming be-otch. Are you on Goodreads? Have you considered doing a book tour via your blog?

  2. I am on Goodreads, and I'm embarrassed to admit this but, I don't know what a blog tour is. Now that I've said it, I'm going to find out and do it. Thanks; I should have thought of it earlier.

  3. I had a look at the site for the first time now. It is as you say an amazing service. I thought perhaps there would be a lot of advertising or something but I can't see what the advantage is for him/them(?) It is very well organised but then it appears they may in fact be Austrian (I spent some time in Austria so can relate to their levels of efficiency!)

  4. He/they are very efficient. However, I think that as he only advertises books which are sold on Amazon, he might be getting a little thank you from them. And if he is, then good luck to him.

  6. Go for it. I'd almost forgotten what the word free meant. If, along the line, there do turn out to be catches, I'll let everyone know about it right away; but I don't really think there are. I think this is genuine.

  8. You're welcome. I made four sales today. I don't know if it's because of askdavid but a sale's a sale.
