I can get back to writing now.

Now that I've changed my new painting for the twentieth time, I can finally get back to writing.

And as an added bonus, I can also forget about the jubilee when Igo back to work in a couple of days.

Now all I've got is: Trooping the colours, the Olympics and roads that subside, but only when I'm just about to drive over them.

  1. Do you think the aftermath of the Olympics will leave the London streets clear and safe in Jnauary? Sweetman and me are planning to come there for another visit.

  2. Compared to some of the cities I've lived in London is a safe place. The police are fully aware of all the tourists and do a great job. Of course there are some areas which are a little "entertaining" but that's where common sense comes in. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

  3. I like the painting this way. It adds dimensions and seems more active.

    1. Thank you. I was toying with a shark but it would probably have been over the top.

  4. Enjoyed seeing your latest painting in progress. I really like the finished article.

I've just started reading the Three Hoodies - enjoying it so far - great idea to centre the plot around a birthday present of a star!

    1. Thank you, I hope you enjoy it. In fact the present of a star was real. I used to work for a very rich person who was given a star for her birthday. What I never worked out, was who owned it, so that it could be given away in the first place.
