Old book, new cover.

I've decided to make a new cover for Three Hoodies 1.

I've already done this twice but they weren't good enough. My original mistake was in thinking "Well it's only for the Kindle, so who's going to look?"

Old one
However, my sales have dropped dramatically. So I've uploaded an new(er) edition with a few more mistakes corrected, just like I should have done in the first place, I know. Yet I firmly believe in these books, especially as I've just finished number 3 and am beginning the fourth and final one in the series.

New one, perhaps
This is the prototype. It's a long way from finished but it's shaping up nicely. I know I'll probably trash it but I'm going to take a break from writing until I've got it right.

They both show events in the book, but of course people won't know that unless they read it.

  1. I think it will make people curious enough to buy the book. The problem for all of us is getting noticed among the other bezillion books out there.

  2. That was my plan. Fortunately smashwords doesn't like my new cover so I'm left with having the same book out there with different covers. I think I'll have to switch back.

  3. I updated Shades of Gray last year, though I may take another tour through it, and am in the middle of fixing up book 2 - I've taken some of the angst out of it since I have gotten some complaints over it, so hopefully it reads better now LOL! Need to get that uploaded...

Have you got the cover thing resolved? Why does smashwords object to them? Drop me a line if it's not fixed yet.
